We will alert you immediately if an event has to be rescheduled or canceled – usually due to weather.
There are no refunds for events that have pre-scheduled and publicized snow or inclement weather dates.
If we have to cancel an event entirely, or reschedule one that doesn't have a built in snow or inclement weater date and you are unable to come on the new date, attendees are entitled to a full refund, and event sponsors and exhibitors are entitled to a partial refund, based upon the level of benefits already received.
Refunds for Other Reasons
For paid registrants who are canceling their attendance, most event registrations are fully refundable up to a week before the event. We are unable to refund a registration fee less than a week before a scheduled event. The exception is the Accreditation Course, for which we need two weeks notice that you are not able to attend, in order to refund your money and give your space to another student.
Sponsorships and exhibitor fees are not refundable unless the event is canceled or rescheduled by CT NOFA, as per the above.
Refunds can be made in the form of a credit to be applied to another event or in the form of a tax-deductible donation to CT NOFA or towards the purchase of a membership or accreditation. Your fee can also be refunded to your credit card, or by check, with a 15% service fee deducted.
