CT DEP Co-sponsoring a Free Training on Rain Garden Design & Installation

I recieved an email from the CT DEP recently letting us know about a 1.5 day hands on training that they are co-sponsoring on behalf of programs like clean water and pollution prevention as well as environmental justice.

Apparently, the workshop is an EPA sponsored "green jobs" training project and the trainers are nationally known for rain garden work from NEMO and from Rutgers University.

This is a hands-on training and seems like a awesome opportunity! Participants will learn about how to design and install a rain garden.  The workshop is taking place in Hartford, CT on Thursday, November 4 and the installation of the rain garden on the morning of November 5.
