Corn Gluten vs Corn Gluten Meal.  Can they both be used as a form of nitrogen for lawn fertilizer? I am not planning to use the CG for its pre-emergent properties, as the ratio would provide too much Nitrogen. This fall I used a no phosphate fertilzer that was a blend of Feather Meal, Soybean Meal, Cottonseed Meal, Alfalfa Meal, and sunflower ash to make a 9-0-4. It went through the spreader quite well. I obtained it from Organic Approach 888-246-5433. Other times I have purchased organic fertilzers from North Country Organics, www.norganics.com/. A no phosphate soy fertilizer can be purchased from www.pjcecological.com/, I would suggest shopping for price and ease of delivery, as well the knowledge the company will share with you. thank you Dwight"
