IMAGINE A LAWN THAT TAKES LESS OF YOUR TIME AND STILL LOOKS GOOD.

In this seminar, you will identify opportunities to create the lawn you really need while having   a landscape that is both attractive and sustainable. The seminar begins with a review of your goals and your current lawn. You are invited to bring photographs and a map of the area. The discussion covers common lawn care problems, such as soil quality, fertilizers, erosion, insects, seeding practices, watering, and more. The instructor will also discuss wildflower meadows, as well as landscape and lawn practices that can reduce ticks. (Fall, by the way, is an excellent time for Connecticut lawn renovations.)

Instructor Kathy Connolly is a landscape designer with a master’s degree in sustainable land use planning and design from the Conway School of Landscape Design. She is an Accredited Organic Land Care Professional and an Advanced Master Gardener. Visit Kathy’s web site at www.speakingoflandscapes.com.
Seminar fee is $50.
