Celebrate the first day of spring and World Water Day by learning how
to implement landscaping techniques that help keep our rivers, lakes,
and wetlands clean. Four great local landscaping professionals will
be leading the workshop – Sarah Middeleer of Holmes Fine Gardens in
Newtown, Cynthia Rabinowitz of The Hidden Garden and ConnSoil, LLC in
Bethlehem, and Kyle & Lisa Turoczi of Earthtones Native Plant Nursery
and Landscaping in Woodbury. Our experts will teach us the basics of
landscape design, creating vegetative buffers and rain gardens, using
native plants, and more! Refreshments available in the morning but
bring your own lunch if you intend to participate in the afternoon
field trip.
